Buying a marquee can be a very confusing experience. With different suppliers using their own method of measuring the quality of their products they can often be hard to compare. We have created this page to help you know exactly what you will get.
Whilst there are many different grades of marquee material, there are also many ways of measuring it. At Midland Marquees, we use GSM (grams per square meter). Other companies also use denier (D) or their own methods of measurement, for example grade 1 etc.
The other factor to consider is the frame measurements. There are different thicknesses available, ususally dependent on the material weight. Obviously the thicker the frame, the stronger and more able to cope with adverse weather conditions etc.
We have created this size guide to help you choose the right size for you.
